Mehdi Tale Masouleh received the B. Eng. M. Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical engineering (Robotic) from the Laval University, Québec, Canada, in 2006 , 2007 and 2010, respectively, under the supervision of Prof. Gosselin and Prof. Husty.  He  was a Postdoctoral Fellow under the supervision of Prof. Gosselin in the Robotic Laboratory of Laval University. He is currently a faculty member of Electrical and Computer Engineering of University of Tehran. He is also the director of Human-Robot Interaction Laboratory, known as TaarLab  for its Persian abbreviation.  His research interests are kinematics, dynamic  and  design of serial and parallel robotic systems, Humanoid, mobile robots and optimization techniques (interval analysis and convex optimization ...) for robotic applications. He is supervising several undergraduate and graduate students and published several papers in different filed of robotic mechanical systems. Some of industrial projects under the supervision of Mehdi Tale Masouleh are the development of a 3-DOF parallel mechanisms, Haptic device for dental education simulation and the development of a FPGA-based mobile robot called MRTQ (a counter part for epuck). He loves Masouleh and BELIEVES that Masouleh could be a place where he can build his own  Masouleh Institute of Technology (MIT) and Masouleh Air. One of his favorite animation is "Masouleh" by Bahram Azimi.

 

 

Ahmad Kalhor received the B. Eng. Degree in Electrical engineering (electronic) from the University of Iran Science and Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 1999. Then he received M. Sc. and Ph.D. degrees, in Electrical engineering (control) from Tehran University, in 2002, 2011, respectively, under the supervision of Prof. Yazdanpanah and Prof. Araabi and Late Prof. Lucas. His research interests are identification, control and prediction of dynamic systems. He has some contributions in developing neuro-fuzzy models and evolving models for learning, prediction and control purposes. He is currently a faculty member of Faculty of New Sciences and Technology of University of Tehran. He has cooperation with the TaarLab on identification and control of different robots.

Mehdi Azmoun received the B.Eng. Degree in Electrical engineering (Power) from the University of Zanjan, Zanjan, Iran, in 2013. The title of his bachelor thesis was “Investigating the Effects of Compensators in the Transmission Network and Simulating an Item of Compensators” under the supervision of Dr. Saeid Jalilzadeh.
In 2015, he passed the entrance exam for M.Sc. degree in Mechatronics Eng. at University of Tehran. He got the rank 40. He is a member of Human and Robot Interaction Laboratory (TaarLab) at the faculty of new sciences and technologies and he started working on Identification and Control of a 4-dof Delta Parallel Robot Based on Kinematic Equations. Mehdi is also a member of Delta group in TaarLab.
His research interests are design optimal control systems, and programable logic controller (PLC) programming. Also Mehdi’s hobbies are football, reading English, playing Guitar and listen to music.

Amin is a M.Sc. student at the Department of Electrical Engineering at University of Tehran, where he is a Research Assistant at Human and Robot Interaction Laboratory. He received his bachelor of control engineering from Babol Noshirvani University of Technology (NIT) in 2012-2016. His bachelor thesis was about Designing and Controlling of 3 DOF robot arm. 
He is co-advised by Prof. Mehdi Tale Masouleh and Prof. Ahmad Kalhor. As a member of Taarlab he is working on Tripteron Robot & Artificial Skin.
He is interested in the fields of Optimal Control, Modern Control Theory,Robotic, System Identification, Instrumentations ,Biomechanics of Legged Locomotion.Amin has interests such as listen to Turkish music,playing football,…

Mahdi atashi golestan receive the B.Eng. degree in mechanical engineering from the Islamic azad university Tehran central branch , iran in 2016 . His bachelor thesis was entitled "designing the water cooling system of P.V.D nano coating machines under the supervision of Dr. M.K. kooshesh . hi works for two years in Y.N.saleh company as designer and producer of P.V.D. machines. In 2017, he was accepted for M.Sc. degree in Mechatronics Eng. in Tehran University. He is a member of Human and Robot Interaction Laboratory (TaarLab) at faculty of new sciences and technologies and he started working on exoskeleton arm for rehabilitation and Physiotherapy proposes for unable peoples under the supervision of Dr. Mehdi Tale Masouleh .Also he is the CEO of noor mehr hoda P.V.D. nano coating company.

I was born on November 22, 1993, in Tehran, Iran. I studied mathematics at Alborz high school from 2008 to 2012. After that from 2012 to the present I started Telecommunications Engineering as undergraduate student at I.A.U. South Tehran branch. I worked on 2D Soccer simulation, C++ Programming and QuadRotor's during high school years. From 2012 to the present I working on ATMEL AVR microcontrollers programming based on Atmel Studio, Motion Processing systems for UAV Controllers, design motion interface between human and computer and also I have some experience on MATLAB scripting, Visual Basic programming and Qt programming. Now I started working on using of motion sensors and image processing on parallel Mechanism robots in Taarlab. My research interests: FPGA, VLSI, Digital design, Embedded Systems, modeling & optimization control systems, machine learning. My hobbies and interests include in Playing Football and listening music.

Ehsan was born on Feb 14, 1993 in Hamadan, Iran. He studied in Robotics Engineering as undergraduate student in Hamadan University of Technology (HUT).His Bachelor thesis was entitled “Finding position of Quadcopter (UAV) with image processing”. Currently (since July 2015), he is working under the supervision of Dr. Tale Masouleh in TaarLab  entitled “ Following UAV with 2Dof spherical robot (Agile Eye) by Image Processing in Opencv. He was leader of Robotics Association and Scientific Associations at HUT in 2012-2013,and senior of Central Council of Robotics Association at HUT in 2011-2015. His research interests include image processing and machine vision in robots, synthesisof mobile robot and other robotic platform. He likes listen to music, play soccer, ping pong and video games and excursion with friends.

I was born on November 20, 1994, in Tehran, Iran. I am an undergraduate student and study Electrical Engineering in University of Tehran from 2014 to now. I am currently a member of Human and Robot Interaction Laboratory (known as TaarLab for its Persian abbreviation) under the direction of Dr. Mehdi Tale Masouleh. I work on vision and conveyor of a Delta robot as an internship. I had some experience in microcontrollers programming based on AVR during junior high school and some courses in university.

Ramin Mersi was born on May 24, 1997, in Kerman, Iran. He is studying as a Mechanical Engineer at Shahid Beheshti University (SBU) of Tehran. He is interested in fields of Robotics, Mechatronics, Intelligent systems, Automation & Control systems. As a member of Taarlab, he is working on Cable suspended parallel robot. Thus redesigning and developing the operation of Cable robot is his primary research in the lab. Also he is working on a firefighter quadrotor project in mechatronic association of Shahid Beheshti University and he is one of the members and originators of the association too. He has experience in working with AVR microcontrollers, Arduino boards, C/C++ & MATLAB programming, Adams & CATIA software. In his spare time, he goes to gym and he likes walking with his dog & reading book. Also he is interested in swimming as a professional sport.

Sina Vali is studying as a Mechanical engineer at Shahid Beheshti University (SBU) of Tehran. He is in love with cars, robots, and machines. As a member of TaarLab he is working on Cable suspended parallel robot. Thus, redesigning and developing the operation of Cable robot is his primary research interest.
He has worked on AVR microcontrollers and Arduino boards and is professional in designing and modeling machines, products and ... in 3D softwares like Catia and Solidworks. He has experience in reverse engineering in industry. He is professional in English language and studying German (deutsch).
Outside of the Lab, Sina spend his spare time in photography, reading books, swimming, driving and exploring new things.

I was born on Aug 1, 1995, in Tehran, Iran. I have received the DIPLOMA in MATHEMATICS from National Organization for Development of Exceptional Talents (NODET). I have received the B.Sc. in computer engineering (hardware) from Isfahan University of Technology (IUT), Isfahan, Iran. Currently (since July 2017), I’m working under the supervision of Dr. Tale Masouleh in TaarLab as trainee in Sanbot (Vira) project. I'm working on Vira voice recognition ability My research interest includes: Computer Vision, Machine Vision, Medical Image Processing, Robotics and Embedded systems. My hobbies and interests: photography and painting.

Parnyan Ataei received her B.Sc. in Robotics Engineering from Hamedan University of Technology (HUT), Hamedan, Iran. Her Bachelor “Analysis of the forward kinematic problem of parallel robots using artificial neural network”. Currently, she is working under the supervision of Prof. Tale Masouleh in TaarLab on the workspace and kinematic of parallel robots. She is interested in the fields of Control Theory, Parallel Robot, Kinematic and Dynamic Analysis, Motion planning.

My main area of expertise is in Digital Systems Design. To be more specific, Microcontroller-based and FPGA-based Embedded System Design, Hardware/Software co-design and System-on-chip. This summer at Taarlab I’m expected to implement a control algorithm for a two degree-of-freedom parallel stabilization platform on FPGA. After that, I am going to do a tracking project which uses a camera on the same stabilization platform and requires intensive low-delay video signal processing on FPGA.

I was born in 1996 in Mashhad, Iran. I am studying in Electrical Engineering in the Control branch, in Tehran University of Tehran, Iran. I am working in on the Delta Robot project. We want to add a conveyor belt for pick and place application for the Delta Robot and we have a machine vision and image processing procedure to help the Delta Robot to detect objects and pick them up. I am also very interested in automating everything and my hobby is ‘programming and listening to rock music’.

Reza Farasat was born on January 21, 1996 in Isfahan ,Iran. He studied in Robotics Engineering as undergraduate student in Hamadan University of Technology (HUT). As a member of Human and Robot Interaction Laboratory (TaarLab) he started working under the supervision of Dr.Tale Masouleh entitled redesigning and developing the operation of Cable-Suspended Parallel Robot. His research interests is aerial robotics, industrial robotics, dynamic and control. His hobbies and interests is excursion with family, playing volleyball and listening music.

Parastoo Azizinezhad is a Bachelor student in Robotic Engineering in Tehran-North branch of Islamic Azad University. She is a researcher at Taarlab since September 2016 after successfully finishing Courses for Training Robotic Researcher. She has done projects on mobile robots which contains control, path planning, electronic, simulation and dynamic. The recently finished project was designing and controlling a Mecanum-wheeled Robot and controlling a mobile robot with a haptic wearable glove in the Taarlab’s ARMS group. At the moment, she is also designing a robotic manipulator for implementing on the mobile robots. Meanwhile she is actively working in the areas of ROS, Arduino, MATAB, MSC Adams and SOLIDWORKS. In the other hand, she experiences teamwork and the theoretical subjects. In her free time, she enjoys swimming, walking and hanging out with her friends and family. Furthermore, she is really interested in driving and cars too.

 Navid Kashi is a high school student at Allame Helli (Talented Students School). He has started working on robotic projects on 2009 when he was just 11 years old. He gained several honors from local and national competitions like 1St place in robotics and 1st place in physics in Khwarizmi national competition (the best known competition in Iran education ministry), 2nd place in technical challenge-SharifCup 2012 and etc. Navid has started working at TaarLab (a Human and Robot Interaction Laboratory, University of Tehran) since 2013. He plays a pioneer role in actuator driving and GUI (Graphical User Interface) projects under Linux OS beside master students and he made two patents from his projects. Now Navid is the head of junior robotic projects at TaarLab and he is preparing a Junior Rescue team in order to participate in IranOpen2014 (RoboCup). Navid enjoys design and implement electronic and programming projects. His favorite lessons are mathematics and physics. Navid loves Iranian folk-rock music.

Mohammad Hassan Bigdeli Shamloo was born in27th of 1996 November. He entered University of Tehran in 2014 in electrical engineering and continued his studies in control field and in addition to regular courses he has some abilities in Atmel AVR, Arduino and Matlab coding, GUI and Simulink. He did projects in this parts such as making a smart watch with AVR, a simple game with Arduino, signal processing and noise filtering in Matlab, creating a graphical program to plot with Matlab’s GUI, modeling control systems in Simulink etc. He entered in Human and Robot Interaction Lab. (Taarlab) in 2017. He works on robot motion planning and their algorithms there. His hobbies are generally reading books especially novels and playing badminton.

Sepehr Samavati received his BSc in Electrical Engineering (Control) from University of Tehran, in 2017. The title of his bachelor thesis was “An Optimal Motion Planning and Obstacle Avoidance Algorithm Based on the Finite Time Velocity Obstacle Approach” under the supervision of Dr. Mahdi Tale Masoule. The thesis has been accepted and presented at CSI International Symposium, 2017, Shiraz University, Shiraz, Iran. 
He also has been an active person in a variety of activities. He elected as the President of the Head Student Council at the University of Tehran, as well as the Student Council of Faculty of Engineering and school of electrical and computer engineering. 
He is interested in many subjects Including programming, artificial intelligence, Control Theory, and robotics. He Ranked 48th (2nd in the country) in the IEEEXtreme programming competition held by IEEE organization. He also has experience in working with AVR microcontrollers, ARM microprocessors and MATLAB programming.
He joined the Human and Robot Interaction Lab (Taarlab) in 2017. Currently, he is working on algorithms for robots’ intelligent navigation based on obstacle avoidance.
